Protect our primary schools

Schools in Hengrove and Whitchurch Park are threatened with closure

We call upon Bristol City Council not to close any primary schools in the Hengrove and Whitchurch Park ward.

1250 homes have already been built in our area in the last several years with up to 2500 more still to be built. We believe that Bristol City Council has failed to fully take account of the demand from this new development. Hengrove and Whitchurch Park will need all of its six primary schools to meet future demand.

Sign our petition below to help oppose this threat.

Protect our primary schools

We oppose the proposal to close up to two schools in our area in 2027 as part of the school organisation strategy consultation and call on Bristol City Council to rule this out.
