Bell Close Garages, Manor Farm – petition for public consultation

We, the undersigned, call upon Bristol City Council, to accept this petition to hold a full public consultation with residents of Manor Farm.  
Bell Close garages is a relatively small space tucked behind family homes, with limited access. The lane is a well used path for pedestrians and cyclists to Southmead Hospital. The scope for expanding the lane is minimal without removing green space and residents gardens.
The area is too small to provide decent quality accommodation in high density houses of multiple occupancy. The Council has already acknowledged the negative impact of the saturation of multiple occupancy housing in Horfield undermining the fabric of the neighbourhood and the sustainability of the community. 
Traffic and parking is already at crisis point in Manor Farm and this development would exacerbate the problem.
Manor Farm has a strong Community spirit, and residents believe there are alternative uses for the land that are more appropriate.
We respectfully request full public consultation to establish the best use of the land.
