Demand Clean Air Now

After missing two deadlines to submit a clean air proposal [1] Mayor Marvin Rees put two options out for consultation over Summer 2019. We believe that neither of these proposals goes far enough.

By the Mayor's own correspondence, he believed that legal compliance on air quality could be achieved by 2025 [2]. However, the two proposals he published take until 2028 or 2029 to reach that mark. So, we call on the Mayor to ensure that his final plan achieves compliance by 2025 at the latest.

Our city cannot continue with toxic air for another decade. We demand clean air now!
